he reflects how the pandemic has taken a toll on the livelihood of millions of people for the past five months. “The disease is dangerous. Of course, we have to be safe. But we can’t continue to remain in the house. We will follow the safety guidelines of WHO. Let’s get back to work,” he was heard saying in the teaser in Tamil.
Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan will return to host the fourth season of Tamil Bigg Boss, which will air from October. A teaser of the show was unveiled on Thursday.
After some fringe groups protested against the show, Kamal said
in a media interaction that Bigg Boss is “as necessary as cricket
in India”.
“I’m not answerable to the people who filed the complaint. I’m not worried about the case. I have immense faith in law and in our government. I don’t think Bigg Boss is tarnishing Tamil culture. I have done kissing scenes in the past. Perhaps, they are seeking my arrest late,” he had said.
On the career front, Kamal is expected to resume work on Shankar’s magnum opus Indian 2 soon. The film, which is being bankrolled by Lyca Productions, also stars Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simhaa, Kajal Aggarwal and Priya Bhavani Shankar in key roles.
Bigg Boss Tamil is a famous reality show aired on Vijay TV every
year. The controversial show has completed 3 seasons and the previous
season became such a hit because of the drama, love triangle, and
outrageous fights.
Despite the nationwide lockdown in
India, it was reported that Bigg Boss Season 4 will be commenced once
the situation is under control. According to the makers, the show
also requires 200 to 400 crew members 'to erect the sets, handle the
equipment, and during shooting and editing' and with the COVID-19
fear looming, it will be not possible to allow the crew to interact
with each other.
